Students Rally for MAP Funding in Springfield
A group of °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ students took time to talk to area legislators and rally for MAP funding in Springfield.

Seven °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ students spent time in Springfield Wednesday for a statewide rally advocating for full funding for the Monetary Award Program. MAP impacts 1122 °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ students (nearly 40% minority students) totaling $4,951,710 for °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ. Students, led by Executive Director of the Institute for Principled Leadership in Public Service Brad McMillan, gave their personal stories to individual state legislators Senator Chuck Weaver, Rep. Mike Unes, Rep. Ryan Spain and Senator Dave Koehler.
