Readmit Application

Students who have previously been admitted to a ��ý��Ƶ undergraduate degree program and have attended classes at ��ý��Ƶ should complete this simplified application for readmission. Graduate students who have been out for three or more terms and/or do not have an approved leave of absence must submit a readmission application.

If you have course work at another institution since attending ��ý��Ƶ, please request that an official transcript be sent directly to the Office of Admission as soon as it is available. The readmission process might be delayed if transcripts are not received.
Any outstanding fines, fees, or other holds must be satisfied before your application will be considered.

Readmission Following Military Service

A student who previously attended ��ý��Ƶ and left the university due to military service or deployment and plans to return to ��ý��Ƶ should complete the Undergraduate Application for Readmission through the Office of Admission.

Students seeking readmission should submit the application and any required documentation as early as possible before the term in which they plan to return. ��ý��Ƶ’s standard readmission process requires students who have completed coursework at another institution since attending ��ý��Ƶ to have an official transcript sent directly to the Office of Admission. In addition, any outstanding fines, fees, or other holds must be satisfied before the readmission application can be considered.

A student seeking readmission following military service should provide documentation verifying the military service that resulted in the student’s absence from ��ý��Ƶ, unless the nature of the service is classified or otherwise cannot be disclosed.

Readmission Consideration

Students returning to ��ý��Ƶ following military service will be considered for readmission in accordance with ��ý��Ƶ’s applicable readmission policies and requirements.

As part of the readmission process, the student may be required to:

Complete the Undergraduate Application for Readmission.
Provide documentation of the military service that resulted in the student’s absence, when applicable.
Submit official transcripts from any colleges or universities attended after leaving ��ý��Ƶ.
Satisfy any outstanding fines, fees, financial obligations, or other holds before the application can be considered.
Provide any additional documentation requested by the Office of Admission to complete the readmission review.

Academic Program and Enrollment

Upon readmission, ��ý��Ƶ will work with the student to determine the appropriate academic program, enrollment status, and application of previously completed ��ý��Ƶ coursework in accordance with current university policies and academic requirements.

��ý��Ƶ will make reasonable efforts to assist a returning student with the transition back to the university and provide information about available academic and student support resources.

Financial Obligations

Any outstanding fines, fees, financial obligations, or other holds must be satisfied before a readmission application will be considered, consistent with ��ý��Ƶ’s current published readmission requirements.

Questions regarding outstanding financial obligations or holds should be directed to ��ý��Ƶ’s Student Financial Services Office.

Non-Degree Students

Students may enroll in coursework at ��ý��Ƶ without being admitted to regular undergraduate or graduate programs. For students wishing to receive regular course credit, this type of enrollment is called “Non-Degree Seeking” enrollment and is subject to a special admission process. Students may also take advantage of ��ý��Ƶ’s non-credit offerings by enrolling in Continuing Education Programs.

Non-degree seeking students are billed at the standard ��ý��Ƶ tuition rate. Please note that discounted online tuition rates, scholarships, and other forms of financial aid are not available for non-degree seeking students. Tuition and fees are assessed per credit hour based on the university’s current undergraduate or graduate tuition schedule. If you are considering taking a course as a non-degree seeking student, we recommend reviewing the current tuition and fee schedule and contacting the Student Financial Services office for additional information.

Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking Admission

Students who wish to enroll in undergraduate-level coursework for credit without regular admission to an undergraduate degree program are classified as Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking. You should apply for this status regardless of your prior educational background if you wish to earn credit for any undergraduate level courses taken at ��ý��Ƶ. Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking students must complete the following admission process:

Submit a completed .
Submit official transcripts or letters of good standing from all previous and current institutions of attendance.
Meet all prerequisite coursework for the classes they wish to take.
High school students and international students must meet additional requirements described on the application.

Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking students are ineligible for Federal Student Aid and State Aid. A maximum of 45 semester hours taken as an Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking student may be applied to undergraduate degree programs.

Applications for the January Interim and Spring Semester must be submitted by December 10.
Applications for all other academic terms must be submitted at least two weeks before the start of the planned academic term.

Graduate Non-Degree Seeking Admission

This admission status is for applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree and are not currently seeking a graduate degree or certificate from ��ý��Ƶ. Non-Degree Seeking graduate students may register for graduate or undergraduate level courses, but will only be awarded credit/grades for graduate level coursework. Applicants must meet the GPA requirements as listed for admission; exceptions for Non-Degree Seeking students may be made at the discretion of Graduate Admissions.

Non-Degree Seeking graduate students must submit an application for graduate admission, application fee, and official transcripts. Admission as a Non-Degree Seeking student does not guarantee enrollment in a course. Students who do not meet specific course prerequisites may be dropped from courses.
Students studying on a visa who wish to enroll as a Non-Degree Seeking graduate student must also meet the additional requirements for international students, including English language proficiency.
Admission as a Non-Degree Seeking graduate student does not constitute admission to a degree program. A Non-Degree Seeking graduate student who wishes to apply to a degree program must meet all requirements for admission to that program. A maximum of nine (9) semester hours with grades of B or better earned as a Non-Degree Seeking graduate student may be applied toward a degree or certificate program, with approval of the program’s graduate coordinator.
Applications must be submitted in accordance with the application deadlines identified by Graduate and International Admission.
