Class Descriptions

LES MILLS BODYPUMP

A scientifically-backed barbell workout using light to moderate weights and high reps to build strength. You鈥檒l work all your major muscles as you increase aerobic fitness and build strength. The encouragement, motivation, and great music you get in a BODYPUMP class will leave you feeling energized, confident, and powerful, while getting you fitter, faster.

LES MILLS STRENGTH & DEVELOPMENT

A 12-week progressive strength building class. Each workout focuses on a specific training protocol. Development ranges from workouts such as foundational strength, Hypertrophy and Pure Strength.

LES MILLS SPRINT

A 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It鈥檚 a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. You combine bursts of intensity, where you work as hard as possible, with periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort. The payoff? You smash your fitness goals, fast.

YOGA

Moves you through a variety of yoga poses in a balanced and systematic way. Improve your total body alignment, flexibility, muscle strength and endurance with low-impact exercises that focus on your breath and core strength. This class is perfect for every fitness level.

Earn up to one point each day for working out inside or outside of the Markin Center and become eligible for increasingly bigger prizes throughout any given semester.

This participation-based program encourages individuals with all levels of workout experience to exercise however they want.
