Students Attend Math Conference

°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ team wins first competition at Pi Mu Epsilon annual event

A team of °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ students claimed the University’s first victory in a competition at the annual Pi Mu Epsilon Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Conference at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.

The team of  major Bradon Schmick ’19, of Bartonville, Illinois;  and double major Griffin Polonus, ’16, of Peoria; Max Palmer ’18, of Ottawa, Illinois; and computer science and math and computer science double major Nick Schreiner, ’16, of Mokena, Illinois, won a gameshow-style “Face Off” contest.

Additionally, Polonus gave a presentation.
