Scholar to Discuss Sentiment, Surveillance and Disappearing Black Boyhood
Body Project presents “Hood Life; or, Tracking Trayvon: Sentiment, Surveillance and Disappearing Black Boyhood.”

The °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Body Project will present “Hood Life; or, Tracking Trayvon: Sentiment, Surveillance and Disappearing Black Boyhood,” a lecture by Dr. Maurice Wallace of Duke University, at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31 in the Marty Theatre in the Michel Student Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Wallace is a preeminent scholar of African American Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, American Literature, and Visual Culture.
The lecture is funded by the Intellectual and Cultural Activities Committee (ICAC) in conjunction with °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ’s year-long celebration of Civil Rights—Past and Present.
