Peoria Resident Named Parent of the Year
Randy Largent, a Peoria resident and single father of two girls, was just named °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ’s Parent of the Year.

Randy Largent was named °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ’s Parent of the Year. Largent, a Peoria resident, is a single father of two girls, one of which is a senior at °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ. Becca Largent nominated her dad for the Parent of the Year award saying “As I enter my final semester at °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, my dad has done nothing but encourage me and push me to expect the best from myself and the education I am receiving. Each year he astounds me by his overwhelming support and trust that he has in the university to teach me everything I need to know to succeed in my career ahead of me.”
Randy is employed by Aramark and works as retail director of °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ dining services. He received the award from the Parents Association Board during the recent family weekend celebration.
