°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ student-leaders gathered February 9 at the second annual dinner. The event recognized campus leaders, including Dean’s Student Advisory Council and several of the College’s student organizations.

Undergraduate Recruiting Coordinator nominated the leaders of the Foster College of Business Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC). She commended Foster students for their efforts on the Hilltop.

“It was a nice event,” Amy Fairfield Doering said. “The student leaders received special recognition for all their hard work.”

Jennifer Dziedzic ’16, a major from Naperville, Illinois, and Vice President of DSAC, was one of the students Doering nominated.

“It was really nice to be recognized,” Dziedzic said. “It makes you more motivated to keep doing good things because you know people recognize you for it and appreciate it.

Sharon Mozes ’16, a and major from Skokie, Illinois, and President of DSAC, was another student Doering nominated.

“I was honored to be nominated and chosen as an I Am Brave award recipient,” Mozes said.

Alex DiVerde ’16, an and major from Batavia, Illinois, attended the event on invitation from Dr. Vince Showers. He appreciated the diverse leadership represented at the banquet.

“I think this event encourages leadership around campus and more importantly recognizes leadership that may go unnoticed by the masses,” he said. “It takes successful students involved in every niche on campus and recognizes their accomplishments and successes as equals.”

Students at the dinner were nominated by faculty and staff. Student employees, organization leaders, residence life staff, top academic achievers and others were in attendance.
