Honoring our Champion Speech Team
The °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ family is celebrating the University’s Speech Team win at the American Forensics Association (AFA) national tournament.

This month, the °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Speech Team won the American Forensics Association (AFA) national tournament.
To celebrate, °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ invited media, faculty, staff, and fellow students to welcome the team home as they departed the bus and arrived back to campus. The following day, °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ raised speech team flags in the Hardin Circle of Pride in their honor. The energy on campus is very enthusiastic. The °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ family is proud of the speech team’s accomplishment and is wishing them well as they compete in the National Forensics Association (NFA) tournament later this month.
With more than 40 team national championships and more than 160 individual national championships, the °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Speech Team is not only the most successful collegiate forensics program in the country but the most successful collegiate team in any capacity, including sports, according to the Associated Press.
