°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ celebrates Black History Month with a variety of activities and events.

February is Black History Month. It is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.
°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ’s Office of Multicultural Student Services is providing a variety of events highlighting the history and heritage of the individuals who identify with the African American culture.
Events include a lecture on Black History at °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, special guest speaker Michelle Alexander (a highly acclaimed civil rights lawyer, advocate, and legal scholar), dialogues on diversity and much more. The full calendar of events is listed below and can also be found at: .
