°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ is proud to welcome Jason G. Petrovich as its new vice president for advancement.

°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ is proud to welcome Jason G. Petrovich as its new vice president for advancement.

As vice president for advancement, Petrovich will provide strategic oversight and management of the university’s comprehensive development and alumni engagement efforts and priorities.  

 “We are thrilled to welcome an advancement professional of such high caliber to °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ,” said Steve Standifird, president, °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ. “Jason has demonstrated an extensive track record of success and will be a great champion for advancing the university’s strategic priorities and fundraising efforts through his leadership of our advancement team.” 

Petrovich comes to °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ from Valparaiso University, where he has been associate vice president for advancement since 2012. During his time at Valparaiso, Petrovich built and led a high-functioning team of advancement professionals through Valparaiso’s most successful campaign in its 163-year history. The campaign, Forever Valpo, exceeded its $250 million goal twelve months ahead of schedule and concluded with over $302 million in new gifts and commitments.

Prior to his time at Valparaiso, Petrovich served in numerous roles over 18 years at his alma mater, DePauw University, including interim vice president for advancement. 

“This is an exciting time to join the °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ family.  It is a place to call home that aligns with my values and a place where I can join others in accomplishing meaningful work,” Petrovich said. “I’m looking forward to engaging with our alumni, friends and leadership to successfully implement President Standifird’s vision for °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ.” 

Petrovich will begin in his new role on January 30, 2023.
