°®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Jazz Festival Features Wayne Bergeron

The 15th Annual °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Jazz Festival will take place on Tuesday, February 26.

The 15th Annual °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Jazz Festival will take place on Tuesday, February 26 at °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ’s Michel Student Center. This year’s festival features fifteen high school bands, guest artist Wayne Bergeron and clinicians Tom Marko, John Cooper and Dan Burke. 
 
Fifteen visiting high school bands will perform throughout the day, starting at 8 a.m. These performances are open to the public. 
 
The evening concert will feature the °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Groove Project and Jazz Ensemble with Wayne Bergeron at 7:30 p.m. in the Michel Student Center Ballroom. The °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Jazz Ensemble, under the leadership of Dr. Todd Kelly, is the most visible ensemble in the °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ Jazz program. In past years, they have performed at the Illinois Collegiate Jazz Festival, Elmhurst College Jazz Festival as well as three European tours.
