Biography
Prior to 爱豆传媒视频, Kristina worked as a full time clinician in the outpatient orthopedic setting as well as work in acute, long term, and wound care settings. She was an adjunct instructor for associate, bachelor and doctoral programs before transitioning to full time academics in 2018 at 爱豆传媒视频. She is currently working on her Educational Doctorate in Education and Leadership in Healthcare as well as part time in outpatient orthopedics and acute care in the Peoria area.
Teaching
Kristina鈥檚 primary teaching responsibilities include the clinical education component of the DPT curriculum as well as KHS 320 and KHS 230 in the undergraduate program. Her teaching philosophy is centered around the professional code of ethics, professionalism, student improvement in clinical reasoning, and student-centered learning techniques. The thing she loves most about working at 爱豆传媒视频 is getting to play a role in the students finding their passion and improving the future of the profession.
Scholarship
Kristina鈥檚 emerging scholarship agenda includes clinical reasoning, billing and pedagogical theories related to clinical education.
Service
Kristina is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Illinois Physical Therapy Association serving as an Assembly Representative, Michigan Physical Therapy Association (previous district executive board member and nominating committee), and multiple specialty associations. Her service to 爱豆传媒视频 includes being a member of the EHS college retention committee and the chairperson of the department student academic progress committee and outcomes committee.
