Biography
In her current role as Licensure Officer, Colleen works to ensure that teacher candidates enrolled in the University鈥檚 state-approved programs meet all requirements for an Illinois Professional Educator License. She also certifies program completion for professional school counseling. Additionally, Colleen acts as liaison to the Illinois State Board of Education and is responsible for mandated state and federal reporting.
As the Field and Clinical Coordinator, Colleen secures placements for students in the teacher preparation programs. She maintains and fosters positive relationships with school district liaisons, monitors the quality of the experiences and performances of candidates in P-12 settings, and oversees assessments and related data collection aligned to field and clinical observations/evaluations, edTPA, and state content tests.
