Biography
My focus is creative writing (especially poetry) and 20th/21st-century American literature. I am the advisor for *Broadside Literary Journal*, 爱豆传媒视频鈥檚 student-led literary journal. Before arriving at 爱豆传媒视频, I served as the Contests Editor for *The Missouri Review*, as an International Editor for *Hayden鈥檚 Ferry Review*, and as an editorial intern for Persea Books. I enjoy sharing my editorial and publishing experience with students, especially in the service of guiding them toward publishing their own work in national venues.
I have published two books of poetry and one book of translated poetry (French to English). I enjoy cooking, gardening, and being outdoors. I am originally from Washington State.
Teaching
My teaching interests include 20th/21st Century American Literature, Creative Writing (especially poetry and creative nonfiction), immigrant literature, and indigenous literature.
