Caterpillar teamed up with °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ for a senior convergence project to help generate new ideas for air valve design. That prototype is now ready for additional testing and consideration for production on future applications.

This fall marks 50 years since the death of Major Robert H. Lawrence Jr., a 1956 graduate of °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ and the nation’s first African-American astronaut. °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ is set to honor Lawrence on October 12.

The Fall 2017 Brave Pitch Competition at °®¶¹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ took place earlier this month. Students had three minutes to pitch an idea for a product, service, social solution or innovation. Winners received prize money: $250/$100/$50.
